This is an online event which you can communicate with others in Japanese. Don’t worry, you don’t have to feel anxious about your Japanese level even if it’s not advanced.
This is an online event for everyone, and we, the event hosts are happy to help you if you feel uncomfortable talking in Japanese. The event will be held on May 14th and it’ll be an amazing chance where you can brush up your Japanese skills and make new friends during this quarantine. It costs only 500 yen to join us. We’re planning to have a small chat with each one of participants individually in advance so that we can listen to your concerns or answer any kinds of questions you might have. Besides, we would like to make sure that Zoom would work with no technical issues.

【Introduction of the event host】 Graduated from Nagasaki University, School of Global Humanities Social Sciences. While she was in Chicago as an exchange student, she worked for Japanese culture center as a volunteer. She was one of a member of “KAKEHASHI PROJECT” under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and visited the United States in 2016. KAKEHASHI members had a presentation about the culture of Japan and Nagasaki at some public institutions in the states.
